John Woodruff
johnwoodruff@cbcmckinney.com

M.A., LPC
Staff Counselor
Play Therapist
John Woodruff has a few strands of gray hair, but hides them well with his youthful appearance. Even with the lack of gray, he has great insight and care into the hearts of those that he sits with. He has been on the counseling journey for over 10 years, personally and professionally. John is a risky man who loves to sit with people in the mess and celebration of life because Christ does this with him. He has a history of pain and brokenness that brings him tears, as well as redemption, which causes him to dance and celebrate. He cannot fix or transform anyone but he does provide a place where people have experienced transformation by the Spirit. Transformation is not in our power but stepping into a transforming relationship is within our power and very courageous.

What other's are saying...

"John Woodruff is a therapist that I wholeheartedly recommend. His academic and professional credentials are beyond repute, but that is not what makes John an extraordinary therapist. With beyond-his-years wisdom, compassionate insight, and a hope for change that is rooted in his own of experience, strength, and hope, John will be an invaluable guide to navigate a healing path -- no matter what the struggle."
