Upcoming Seminars

Youth Culture
What does the "typical" day in the life of a McKinney teenager consist of? What might he or she experience that you, as a parent or mentor, can relate to? What might you find unfamiliar and perhaps frightening? Please join Keith Harrell, director of the Center for Biblical Counseling and father, in a discussion of how we might better understand and encourage our children as they mature into young men and women.

Marriage
Most of us can say that marriage is a good and even godly endeavor, but can we explain to a friend the compelling reasons that we stay together in a world that seems bent on ripping marriages apart? Join Ken Quinn, staff counselor at the Center for Biblical Counseling, in a conversation about how differences impact your marriage and examine with him a biblical perspective on the purpose and importance of marriage.

Parenting
This seminar will look at the ways we're impacted by our children, and the ways God uses them to grow us into Christlikeness. Please join Chuck Roberts and Rick Polachek, staff counselors at the Center for Biblical Counseling, as they discuss four types of families, things that influence our parenting styles, and the traits of healthy families, in addition to other issues that impact parents and children.

Stress Management
This seminar looks at your stress levels personally as well as at work and give you tips and suggestions of how to lessen the load. For more tips and information visit our Measuring your Personal Stress page as well as our Stress Management Suggestions page.

Join our mailing list so we can contact you when these seminars will be presented next.
