Sexual Addictions

"I've promised God over and over that I will quit looking at pornography, yet I always seem to fail. I feel so powerless to quit."

"I just caught my husband looking at porn. What should I do?"

"It started out as harmless email exchanges. It felt good to have someone to talk to. Now our messages have a sexual overtone. Part of me wants to end it before it hurts my marriage, but another part of me wants to continue."

Along with many good things the Internet brings has come a shocking increase in the amount of people struggling with sexual addiction. Men continue to struggle the most, yet the number of women caught up in it is rapidly increasing.

Most people, silenced by feelings of shame, try to quit on their own. And most people soon find out that despite their best efforts they continue to struggle. We weren't meant to journey alone.
